Standing at the front entrance of the Thean Hou Temple (Chinese: 天后宫) during 2010 Chinese New Year.

As every Chinese New Year approach, Thean Hou Temple decorates its interior and exterior with numerous lanterns, sculptures, and many Chinese tradition elements. The scene is very beautiful lid up and during the New Year celebration. Thousands of visitors including my self come to enjoy the decorations.

The shot above was taken at 26th February 2010, 13th day of the Lunar New Year, 7:51pm. At that time was drizzling & thundering. it happens to have a big lightning strike during the precise moment of the camera exposure.
