This panorama is taken on the Merced River after a short walk on wooden trails from one of the  parking areas along the street. The Merced river flows directly through the valley. The short walk also unveils a far view of the Yosemite Falls which are amongst the biggest waterfalls in the world (#6) by falling 2425ft/739m into the deepth. Especially in spring time when the Yosemity Creek carries lots of water from melting snow.
